A rare Soviet table lamp, which was designed to commemorate the explorstion of space. It was made in Soviet Russia, after the Monument of the Conquerors of Space, an obelisk in Moscow, dedicated to exploration of space and a part of the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics. The picture of the obelisk is attached as well. Made in Soviet Union in 1965. The base of the lamp is done in bakelite, on top of which sits the base of steel plate, again bakelite steps with the steel relief and finally the rocket heading up, which is done in lucite or plexi. There is a mini red light located in the corner of the plexi rocket, at its bottom. Very good vintage condition. When purchased the lamp will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped you will receive the tracking number for your package.
