From RUST to ROYAL.
Restored with the utmost precision while retaining its authenticity.
Only the Electric wire has been replaced.
All restoring has been done by hand and with non-toxic materials.
The Black color is the original brandlacquer.
The original lampshade is made of celluloid and paper and gives the impression of an oil barrel.
Given this fact (oil barrel) it is more then likely that Royere was inspired by the Walter C. Trout (USA) pump of 1925 that pumps oil to the surface.
See pics for impression:
The first 9 pictures show how the lamp is now (restored).
The 10th picture is decumentation of the lamp.
Picture 11 is how the condition was when I found it (rust).
The last few pictures (12 to 16) show some restoring details.
