The special feature of this Sintesi lies in the base, which is designed here as a flexible tripod. The later versions of the Sintesi Terra came with a normal disc base. Otherwise, the lamp shows the characteristic elements of the Sintesi series, the black struts, the frame with joint, the aluminum reflector. The tripod gives the lamp a particularly delicate appearance. At the same time it offers a high level of flexibility. The height of the lamp head can be continuously adjusted and fixed using a lever. The lamp can even be completely folded up into a handy size and transported easily. The metal feet designed as rollers at the end of the tripod are striking. A green version of this Sintesi lamp with a tripod was also in Dieter Rams’ office at the HfBK in Hamburg.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear.
