A very elegant pair of Empire style fluted wooden Corinthian column lamps on a square stepped base. The black tole capital features leaf decoration and cream-coloured metal bulb holders from which hang brass ball pull chains, which are for turning the bulbs on and off independently. The new white cotton lamp shades terminate with a decorative blackened brass finial. The stepped base is elegant with black tole stylised decoration. Professionally rewired with 3-core braided antique brown cord. Overall the lamps have a lovely patina, with a couple of age-related marks at the back of the lamps, which are shown in the last image.
