A very rare and impressive pair of cast bronze torch lights, dating to around 1900. Made from heavy cast bronze, these antique uplighters have developed a beautiful natural verdigris patina over the past century, giving them real depth and character.
Each light retains its original glass flame-shaped shade, designed to mimic the look of a flickering flame and sitting perfectly atop the bronze torch form. The quality of the casting is excellent, with a solid weight and finely worked detail throughout.
These antique bronze uplighters would work well in both period and contemporary interiors.
