Online Pamono Gold and Cream Ceramic Table Lamp attributed to Aldo Londi for Bitossi / Bergboms, Italy, 1970s

An elegant ceramic table lamp designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, produced in Italy in the 1970s for the Swedish lighting company Bergboms. This collaboration represents a notable moment in postwar European design, where Italian ceramic excellence met Scandinavian modernist restraint. The cylindrical body is composed of two satin-gold glazed bands at the top and base, framing a central section in Bitossi’s signature chamotte-textured cream ceramic. The materials and finish reflect the precision and aesthetic discipline characteristic of Londi’s work for Bitossi during this period. Fitted with a geometrical trapeze shaped lampshade in a neutral cream tone with light linen texture. It features the original handwritten Bitossi signature and code number, along with the Bergboms label on the base. The lamp is in pristine condition, with its original electrical system fully intact and in perfect working order.
