Pyrex glass or borosilicate glass is a robust material used for its qualities of resistance to temperature changes and its low coefficient of expansion. This material therefore makes the lamp suitable for outdoor placement.
The lamp has been completely rewired, so the electronic and electrical elements are new.
Also new is the electronic ballast and the 28-watt T5 fluorescent lamp at 2,700 K (warm light).
It is possible to fit 21-, 28-, 35-watt T5 fluorescent (neon) lamps.
