This iconic Space Age lamp was designed by Yamada Shomei in 1975. The design, called “Manon,” is inspired by Japanese origami. The flexible design was extremely popular in the 1970s. As a result, the lamp was manufactured and distributed by various manufacturers, such as Brilliant Leuchten in Germany and Tronconi in Italy. Depending on how far the lamp is unfolded, it turns on or off. The lamp can be used as a desk lamp, as shown in the pictures. Alternatively, it can also be hung on the wall and used as a bedside lamp, for example. Additional dimensions: Unfolded height 22 cm
