The Mezzo Oracolo standing or table lamp was designed by Gae Aulenti for Artemide in the 1960s. The huge opal glass shade is attached to a metal foot that also leaves light when the lamp lights up. The dimmer switch reduces or brightens the amount of light.
Gae Aulenti Milan, was an Italian architect, interior designer and designer. The “Mezzo Oracolo” floor lamp is a draft from 1968/69, here the early execution:
– Artemide Italy, 1970s
– Large opaling laser ball as an umbrella
– Metal version in cylinder shape,
– A luminous body for glass ball, a luminous body for cylinder body
– Original cable with dimmer, H: approx. 66 cm lower diameter: 31cm
– three flame (2xe14, 1xe27)
– Very good vintage state
It goes well with designs from Eames, Knoll, the Saarinen Tulip Chairs, USM, Vitra, Hay, Menu and much more.
