This ceiling lamp is attributed to Emil Stejnar in the 1950s and manufactured by Rupert Nikoll. The spheric lamp features a brass core mounted with lacquered wire baskets. 14 white lacquered shades holding E 14 bulbs alternate with glass flowers and prisms to create the snowball (or “Pusteblume”) effect after which this piece is named. One of the three sockets on the top (north pole!) had to be replaced for security reason.
