Clearance Pamono Scandinavian Arts & Crafts Floor Lamp, 1890s

A handmade and hammered copper floor lamp from the early 20th century. The foot of the lamp is an artwork on it self. It has a floral appearance and looks like the backside of a sunflower. The diameter of the lampfoot is ± 45 cm. The lamp pole/stand is the flower stem. The lampshade is made of thick bleached hard leather parts. All parts are stitched together with a raw leather lace. A unique example of high craftsmanship from, most likely, Swedish origin. This kind of craftsmanship with floral copper hammering was of great influence in the Applied Art of the Amsterdamse School.
