They involved him in their glassblowing process when he was very young. He is well known for his impeccable design skill and use of historical techniques in producing inventive lighting fixtures, sculptures, lamps, & vases.
He continues to live and work in Murano, Italy.
His works can be viewed in the collections at The Museum of Modern Art in New York and The Corning Museum of Glass.
The Mazzega Glass Factory is located in Murano, Italy.
They are exceptional glassmakers, designers, and artists and have largely contributed to the circulation of Murano glass throughout the world.
