This elegant six-light gilded chandelier is suspended by three chains attached to a gilded bronze casting enclosing a pine cone-shaped finial. The casting is connected to the ceiling rosette with a tall tubular element, a fluted shaft. The three chains in turn support the lampshade, a circular bowl adorned with an elegant pod-like pattern on the underside and centered by a decorative pine cone motif at the end. The same pine cone motif is found above the cup, centered on six winged cherub figures, six little angels arranged around the perimeter of the circular cup, and near the rim, six angels, alternating between standing and kneeling, holding a chain in both hands.
The cup has six curved arms with bobeches, ending with six electrified candles that operate with E14 bulbs. It is wired for a maximum power of 500 watts.
The chandelier comes from a private villa in Lombardy.
