The inner opaline sphere is surrounded by a smoked glass sphere, the top and bottom of which have been removed. This creates a beautiful and pleasant diffusion of light. Both glass elements are held in place by a metal disk attached directly to the ceiling.
The lamp is in good vintage condition, and the glass parts are fully intact. The paint on the metal shows some signs of wear, but nothing noticeable when the lamp is hanging upright.
