The Louis Poulsen model 118564 was originally produced slightly differently than the one you find today. The cable strain relief was originally provided by Poulsen’s signature orange metal circle. Plastic rings were used at the bottom of the lamp to diffuse the light. Both elements were lost over the years. During the lamp restoration, we decided not to replace them artificially. Therefore, we omitted the diffuser. We also added a white cable strain relief. We also added a silver-gray cable to match the silver-gray shade. We are happy to customize the color and length to your liking.
