Born in Verona in 1935 , Albano Poli attended the Napoleone Nani School of Art , directed by master Pino Casarini , who steered him towards a career in glassmaking .
He began by restoring historic stained-glass windows, then developed his own distinctive style, combining craftsmanship and innovation.
In 1953 , he founded Studio Arte Poli , specializing in sacred art, stained glass, sculpture and liturgical furniture . Thanks to his innovative vision, the company quickly established itself as a benchmark for artistic production in the ecclesiastical sector.
In 1968 , he founded Poli Arte , a company that stands out in the panorama of Made in Italy furniture design , with production ranging from glass to bronze, from frescoes to mosaics .
A. Poli always maintained a strong link between art and spirituality, reflecting his deep interest in sacred art.
He passed away in 2024, leaving an important artistic legacy that continues to influence the world of stained glass and liturgical design.
